A new era for funding: the role of gender equality and diversity

The IEEE Italy Section Women in Engineering Affinity Group has organized the panel session titled “A new era for funding: the role of gender equality and diversity,” which will be held within the 2023 IEEE EUROCON “RenaissScience! A new era for scientific ideas and applications”, in Turin, Italy.
Following the opening talk by the IEEE R8 WIE Chair, the session proposes four talks by representatives of Italian Institutions that implemented specific actions to meet the recently introduced requirements on gender inclusion dictated by gender equality plans (GEP), followed by a round table, open to a debate and to questions from participants, on the new opportunities for women in technologies as enabled by these actions.
